Hias Global Terms & Conditions

Cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds will be given according to the following schedule.

Cancellation Policy
14 days or more prior to tour date: Full refund with CNY 150 processing fee
5–13 days prior to tour date: 70% refund with CNY 150 processing fee
1–4 days prior to tour date: No refund
The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed flights etc.) within 3 days of the scheduled tour. The tour is held rain or shine, please bring weather gear according to the weather.

In the event the Client is forced to change the date of the Event/Activity every effort will be made by Hias Global staff to support to the new date. The Client agrees that in the event of a date change any expenses including but not limited to deposits and fees that are non-refundable and non-transferable are the sole responsibility of the Client. The Client further understands that last-minute changes can impact the quality of the Event/Activity and that Hias Global is not responsible for these compromises in quality.

Hias Global and its agents accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flights, trains, or other services, sickness, pilferage, machinery breakdowns, government restraints, weather conditions, strikes, labour disputes, acts of war or terrorism, quarantine, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control, other causes or acts of God.

Event/Activity Cancellation by Hias Global
Date and time of any Event/Activity is subject to change or cancellation, should any unforeseen circumstances beyond Hias Global’s control occur. If an Event/Activity is changed, Hias Global will use reasonable efforts to arrange for alternative and offer the Client substitute plans, within the budgeted limits in terms of financial, time and human resources of the Event/Activity. If the Event/Activity is cancelled or changes are not approved, Hias Global shall provide a full refund, minus bank charges, if any, of the amount paid within fifteen working days of the planned Event/Activity.

Responsibilities and Liabilities
All events and activities booked by Hias Global, and all arrangements for transport and programs are made upon the express condition that Hias Global shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss or accident that may arise from such purchases or arrangements.

The Client(s) guests should be in good physical condition and are responsible for reviewing the physical activity level included in the Event/Activity. Hias Global is not liable if the Client’s guests are unable to participate in any Event/Activity due to the Client(s) physical limitations. The Client(s) are requested to act in a responsible manner at all times, and act with respect towards the Event/Activity hosts, service providers, property, people and places visited during the Event/Activity.

Any and all liabilities arising from the consumption of alcoholic beverages during the Event/Activity are the responsibility of the Client(s). Hias Global is not liable should any food poisoning or allergic reactions occur as a result of food or drink consumption on Hias Global programs.

Clients are expected to arrange his/her own travel insurance prior to arrival as Hias Global cannot do this on their behalf. Clients should have the right travel insurance to cover both medical emergencies and cancellation of trip.

Indemnity
The Client agrees to assume full financial liability and responsibility for any damage or loss of objects or property belonging to or managed by Hias Global and its service providers for any accident or injury incurred by the Client or Client’s guests during or as a result of such use except where there is any gross negligence by such parties.

Complete Agreement
The terms and conditions in this document constitute the complete agreement between the Client and Hias Global with respect to the Event. They supersede any prior agreements, representations, or statements with respect to the event. No other oral or written agreement shall alter any provision of this agreement unless both the Client and Hias Global so agree in writing.

Compliance with Laws
The Client, Client’s guests, and Client’s invitees will use best endeavours to comply fully with all applicable Chinese laws and regulations in the conduct of the event and in the Client’s use of facilities and equipment of Hias Global’s service providers. Hias Global reserves the right to request law enforcement assistance to close any Event/Activity that threatens persons or property or otherwise violates the terms of the contract. Smoking is allowed in smoking-designated areas only.

Changed Circumstances
Hias Global retains the right to terminate the event if changed circumstances (e.g. initiation of bankruptcy proceedings) reasonably suggest that the Client will be unable to fulfil their obligations under this agreement.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

Photo Usage
Hias Global often takes photos of its activities. These photos may be used on our blog, website or promotional materials. No personal details, however, will ever be given out to any third party. If guests do not want their photo taken they must let us know and always tell their guide at the beginning of the Event/Activity.
